Nakshatras System in Vedic Astrology

In Vedic astrology, Nakshatras are the 27 lunar constellations that the Moon passes through during its monthly cycle. Each Nakshatra is associated with a ruling deity, a planetary ruler, and specific qualities that influence personality and destiny. Here’s a brief description of each:

1-9: First Set (Ashwini to Ashlesha)

  1. Ashwini (Energetic & Healing) – Ruled by Ketu, symbolized by horse heads, brings speed, healing, and leadership.
  2. Bharani (Transformation & Responsibility) – Ruled by Venus, linked with Yama (God of Death), represents discipline and creativity.
  3. Krittika (Sharp & Fiery) – Ruled by Sun, symbolized by a blade, brings courage, passion, and leadership.
  4. Rohini (Beauty & Growth) – Ruled by Moon, symbolized by a cart, associated with charm, creativity, and material success.
